These two cameras used to be best friends, they'd go to the movies, walks in the park, but recently something's off. Possible involving the grate on the left? Who knows.

The wire around the refuse area in Wandsworth, the crane in the background takes containers, loads them on barges and then takes them out to a waste island in the Thames Estuary

A very descriptive label of the item below (although really it's the Wandsworth Refuse Tip metal only bin.) Seen on our wander at the weekend.

This gem sits on the side of flats on King street, Hammersmith; although where it point to no longer exists. Taken specifically for Londonist Lexicon :D

This chap was very tame for a pigeon, at the close edge of focussing.

Tree #12 |
This is the top of one of the sails on the Wandsworth sailing club boats from our walk on Satuday, the mad background diagonals are because this was taken through a chainlink fence.

This is image 10,000 from my 400D, in just over 8 months of owning it. It's one of the many (rusting) pieces that are over Hammersmith Bridge from the meetup on Saturday.

For a reason unbeknowst to me, the trees along the walk were all tagged, this is #12.

A journey down the Thames |
The processing reflects my current state of health. After an 8 mile photowalk in the odd sun (it's England? huh?) I've yet to import the card after passing out 5 hours ago, oops!

This shot (about 7 months old) is from a cold day with the wind flowing through this horse's hair. He came over to say hello while Dad and I walked through the forest. I think he trusts me, and I trust him. Interestingly I'm watching Walk the Line in the background, and the coour treatment apears to have worn off unexpectedly!

If you're ever in London, I suggest you take the Thames Clipper, not only is it as cheap as the Tube, its quicker and more sane. This group are travelling just East of Waterloo on the way to Tower Bridge.

A heritage no 9 routemaster sat outside the Albert Hall. To think only 5 years ago I was still getting his bus on it's full route between Hammersmith and Oxford Circus, now only a few remain on special 15 and 9 partial routes.

Not only is this a bright red car (its a Diplomatic Protection Group car, and the dots at the top of the windscreen signify that they're armed!) it's also not brilliant at hiding behind the fence is it with it's lights on... On the plus side they didn't arrest me for taking a photograph of them. You can see this car in action here and here
Can you tell a theme at the moment? Yep I'm trying to debunk the myth of the UK war on photography that frankly doesn't exist.
I'm also back on one post a day after the chunk of London PhotoWalk shots from the weekend.

Apparently n these days of health and safety there are pre-made escape routes from the Tower of London. Slightly different to the days gone by.
