The old guard of London architecture; up against one of the newest. Gleaming cutting edge glass vs the steel and tubular structure of modernism? Which is best? That's up to you.

Dad and I had a little photowalk around London earlier today - although we spent most of the time taking photos of tourists on their cameras! - Best Viewed Bigger

PhotoLegal's resident lawyer James Barisic - complete with comedy hat and his new camera.
Today was the first time I met James; we had a live show to put on for the BJP vision09 conference; and he's a thoroughly wonderful chap in the flesh! If you listen to PhotoLegal you'll know by now that you can find him on Twitter and his blog.
Big thanks to Olivier and the troops at Incisive Media's BJP for letting us have a spot to record in my extended lunch break. - Best Viewed Bigger

Commisioned in 1630 this statue was the first of its kind. It now sits in the middle of a traffic island which is the point at which all signs leading to london end. All London Mile Markers are mapped from this spot. In the background is St Martin in the Fields and further behind the spinning globe a-top the London Coliseum - Best Viewed Bigger

A pair of coworkers(?) enjoy a quick if frosty pint in the Cat and Canary pub in Canary Wharf. Across the dockReminders of the dock's past in front of the Marriott Curve hotel; and a bright DLR station in the far background. - Best Viewed Bigger
